As you hopefully know, you can easily remove any bill from your bill sheet by X-ing it out. As you think about choosing to X out a bill, you may find yourself thinking about the bigger picture of your workflow.

Clicking X next to a bill will hide it so it no longer shows up in your list, in your alerts, or in your widgets. But what if you made a mistake, changed your mind, or are worried someone with permission to modify your bill sheet removed the wrong bill? No worries! It’s easy to get a bill back. Here’s a video on how to hide and unhide your bills.

Open the bill sheet that has the bill(s) you want to unhide. Go to the query tab. You should see a “hidden bills” yellow box.

Once you click on the yellow box, you'll see a grid.

Like with all other grids in BillTrack50, you can click on the name of any column in the hidden list. Clearing a bill from the hidden list puts the back onto your bill sheet, alerts, and widgets. If you had entered any extra data for the bill into your bill sheet previously, like comments or your position on the bill, that information will come back too.

Depending on your goals and your state, you might have some concerns about hiding bills (especially relative to amendments). Remember that we are here to help. Reach out and we can discuss customization options that may help.
