What follows is a guest post from Jamie Smith of FormSwift. Since we have many non-profit customers and readers, I thought this free resource might be of interest. -Karen

FormSwift is a project focused on creating personal and legal templates that are customizable, easy to use, and highly professional. For select businesses and organizations, including schools, non-profits, and athletic associations, we offer a tailored set of free services, such as our non-profit documents hub.

We offer non-profit bylaws, board member contracts, and board member applications for free, because, as a young, growing startup ourself, we understand the importance of finding low-cost and no-cost alternatives when building out your organization and staff. Having a solid set of bylaws and a professional hiring process in place for your executive board are two absolute necessities for any non-profit. By helping non-profit organizations at the beginning of their journey with their paperwork, we hope to help social entrepreneurs devote more of their time working on the important tasks of their organization’s mission.

The initial stages of any organization are always trying and challenging, and filling out paperwork can oftentimes be one of the most challenging moments. With our three non-profit forms, we can reduce the scope of that challenge. In turn, all we can hope for is that the non-profits we help will think of us when their organization and work grows, allowing us to help ease the burden of other important tasks, such as filling out tax forms, creating volunteer forms, or signing property agreements.
