After you save a search in BillTrack50 you get what we call a Bill Sheet. Bill Sheets have various awesome features, such as the plus button. If you want to copy a bill from one bill sheet to another, just use the plus.

You can use the plus to cherry pick bills to a hot list for a widget on your website. Or you can set up a bill sheet with a big broad search to make sure you catch all bills (or, like some of our customers in states where it is practical, review every bill introduced), and then use the plus to sort bills into bill sheets organized into narrow topics. Or you can even use the plus to grab bills from someone else’s bill sheet that you want to follow too.

After you click the plus you are given a list of all of your bill sheets, so you can check off one (or more) bill sheets you want to copy the bill to. We’ve recently added a new feature to make this copying even more useful; you can now also copy your comments and position along with the bill. Simply check the box at the bottom of the tracking dialog box. (This copy feature will work best for bill sheets that are using the same template.)

As always, let us know what you think or reach out if you have any questions.
