We have added a new way to filter bills on your bill sheet, based on their current progress through the legislative process. We are just taking a very high level view of the steps, so you can look for just bills that have at least  made it to the second chamber, or all bills that haven’t passed yet, or exclude bills that are dead, etc.

Here’s what the new filter looks like, simply check and uncheck as needed:

A little detail on the categories:

1) Introduced: The bill has been introduced in the originating chamber

2) In Committee: The bill has been assigned to one or more committees in the originating chamber

3) Crossed Over: The Bill has been enrolled and sent to the second chamber, and/or has been introduced in the second chamber

4) Passed: The Bill has been engrossed, and/or signed by the governor (or delivered to the Secretary of State or other official as appropropriate), and/or enacted.

5) Failed/Dead/Vetoed: The bill has been officially declared dead or do not pass in committee, or did not make the necessary progress in the allowed time frame, or was vetoed by the Governor (or other appropriate official).
