Seeing how legislators overall, and individually, is easy on BillTrack50. After you have found the bill you are interested in and clicked on it, you’ll be looking a the bill detail page. The first thing you see is the summary information, which is a great place to start. But notice the other tabs; there is a lot of other information available. Notice in particular the Vote History tab.
Once you go to that tab you’ll see all votes listed, along with a detail link so you can get even more information:
These links will bring up a complete picture of each vote. Note this information is available for state bills too, except for Hawaii and Kentucky. Consult this document to see what states also provide committee votes. On the individual vote screen you have even more options:
You can click on the label of any column to sort by that column (this works on the main bill sheet too). That way you can easily find your representative, or focus on one party, or find a few contrary voters. Note you can also click on individual legislators to get their contact info, and explore bills they’ve sponsored, their recent votes, and so on.
To review other bills/topics simply type a bill number or keyword into the search box at the top of every screen, or switch the search to legislator and enter a last name to go straight to your representative:
