One of the most frequent requests we have gotten at BillTrack50 over the last few years is to extend the time-out period. We know how frustrating it is to be logged out when you aren’t expecting it and lose whatever bill list or summary you had been working on. Well hold onto your socks! You can now log in for 90 DAYS at a time!

This video shows you how to stay logged in if you want to, how to review your current sessions, and log out remotely when needed. Discussion of the new feature and additional details below.

In the new BillTrack50 log-in, the “remember me” checkbox will now create a “persistent” session. This means that if you leave BillTrack50 and come back later (on the same computer using the same browser), you will still be logged in and can pick up where you left off. You can create multiple sessions on multiple devices/browsers.

If you are not on your own computer then don’t check the remember me box and you’ll be logged out of your session after 20 minutes of inactivity, or when you choose log out.

The new BillTrack50 has added session management tools in case you accidentally create a persistent session on a public computer, or on a colleagues laptop, or just otherwise need to end a session remotely. To access session management go to the account menu in the top right corner and choose Manage Account.

From the Account Management screen you can choose Active Sessions to review your current sessions.  You can see the details of your current sessions, including if the session is persistent. The three dots on the top corner of each session box give you the option to end that session.

Now get out there and enjoy all the uninterrupted BillTrack50 time you want. 🙂
